Our First Wedding Anniversary!

Wedding Photos
This past Sunday was our first wedding anniversary. I can't believe a year has already gone by. We talk about our wedding all the time and how we wish we could relive that day again. We had so much fun and everything turned out perfect. Since we didn't have our blog at that time, I have decided to post a few of my favorite pictures.

Here's my handsome husband

The ladies that stood by my side... I love them all!

Tracy and Rachel made the boys these cool underwear. You can't see it very clear, but it says, "I (heart) Xavs". Thanks Girls! The best day of my life!

Anniversary Trip

For our actual wedding anniversary we decided to go away for the weekend. So we went camping in Yosemite. We left Thursday afternoon and we were planning on getting a campsite that night, but unfortunately everything was full. We drove from campsite to campsite, inside the village and out looking for a place to sleep. It was 1:30 in the morning, we were pooped, but determined to find a site. As we were leaving Campground 4 the park ranger comes running towards our car, and waves us down to stop. She informs us that there is a bear in the road. We look ahead about 100 ft. and there it was! A huge, black bear, on top of a pizza box, just enjoying a late night snack. Adam and I had just talked about really wanting to see a bear during our trip, we seriously couldn't believe our eyes. At this time, another car pulls up right next to us, we roll down the windows, and we end talking about the bear and how we are both trying to find a spot for the night. We finally decided to call it a night and we ended up sleeping in our car. We arrived back to Campground 4 early that morning, got in line, and ran into the same couple from the night before. Little did we know that we would end up hanging out with them for the weekend.

Deer on our campsite

On our last day, as we were driving around the village looking for a place to shower, we stumbled across ANOTHER black bear just strolling around the park. This time he was much closer!

Home Sweet Home

Our delicious camping meals...

This is the most beautiful hike we have ever been on! We hiked to Nevada Falls, a rigorous 8 mile hike, but absolutely breathtaking!

Layla and Justin (the couple we met at 1 in the morning), Kelly, and Adam and I.

When we got home that night we got our anniversary cake out. We were not too sure how it was going to taste because of the flowers on top, but it actually wasn't bad.

Happy Father's Day!!

Late Friday night, Adam and I drove down to La Quinta to hang out with Gary and Jackie. The boys went golfing early Saturday morning with Gary for Father's Day. Unfortantely, we had to leave, but before we left we gave Gary his custom made bobblehead. It looks just like him. Brandon found it on whoopassenterprises.com. Good Job Brandon!

On Sunday we took my mom and dad to the Angels vs. Dodgers games. My dad is a HUGE Dodger fan and hasn't been to a game since he's been sick- I want to say it has been atleast six years. Adam and I really wanted to take him and we knew he would love it. He was on cloud nine!!! And even a better gift for my dad, the Dodgers won. I am so glad we went. We are so blessed to have shared such an amazing day with my family and some of the Walker family. We got the easy-up, good BBQ, family fun, a ball game and a beautiful day... what else could a girl ask for?

Vegas with the Girls!!!

Vegas with my San Diego girls was so much fun! We got a 2 bedroom suite with 3 bathrooms -which was perfect for 7 girls trying to get ready at the same time. We stayed at the Mirage, got some sun, and danced the night away. It was so nice to see the girls. I truly do miss them. They are not too far away, but it's always nice to hang out like the good ol' college days:)

We ran into Tommy, Mike, Moss, and Ray at the Venitian Pool.

Mr. & Mrs. Almand

On Sunday night, right after getting back from Vegas, we went to Cody and Sarah's wedding at the Mission Inn. It was absolutely beautiful and the bride and groom were definitely glowing. We are so excited for them. Congrats guys!

Wine Tasting

I went wine tasting with the girls from work. We met at Emily's house and ended up getting a Limo bus... it was HUGE!!! We went to 4 different wineries and had lunch at Ponte's. I had a blast!
