It really has been a very long time since I've blogged. It has been over four months and there has been so much news to share. In August, I started my new school year. I have an amazing class this year. They are so sweet and funny. Later that month, Brandon and Jeanine had their baby! Little Logan Grace Walker... Adam and I like to call her "LG". She was born on August 24th. She is Absolutely adorable and such a good baby. September was such an exciting month for us. Adam and I decided to start trying for a baby. We didn't know how long it would take us, but the morning of September 25th, I took my first pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE! We couldn't believe our eyes. We were so excited... And of course, we still are. We really wanted to immediately share the news with our families, but at the same time, we wanted to do it in a special way. So, we waited for Adam's 30th birthday dinner to share the news. It was awful not being able to tell anyone for a whole week.
October 2nd- Adam's 30th birthday!!! I wanted to throw Adam a huge 30th birthday bash, but it's kind of hard to when you don't own a house to throw it in. So, instead I surprised him with a trip to DC for mid November. We still hung out with friends and family that evening. We decided to go to Shoguns for a little teppan grillin'. My parents, Adam's parents, Scott, and Brandon were there to celebrate the BIG 3-0. Jocelyn and Julie really wanted to be there, but unfortunately couldn't. We had an amazing dinner with a funny chef. At the end of the meal, I had asked the manager to bring out special "custom" made fortunte cookies I ordered online with the message " A new baby will bless your life in June. Lucky numbers: 6-5-2010". At first, it was funny watching Gary, Scott, and Brandon confused. They thought their fortune pretty much sucked because they all received the same one. It wasn't until my mom and Jackie read theirs, that it was all put together that we were pregnant. It was such an exciting and emotional moment. The manager, servers, and hostesses knew the whole time and kept staring at us with the biggest smile. After dinner we celebrated with friends and family at the Alibi. Tommy, Cody, Ray, Moss, Rachel, Brandon, Kim, Travis, Tracy, Justin, Brother Brandon, Scott, cousin Carrie, and Ryan were all there to celebrate. It was such a great night! Thanks guys, for celebrating with us!

Our First Wedding Anniversary!
Wedding Photos
This past Sunday was our first wedding anniversary. I can't believe a year has already gone by. We talk about our wedding all the time and how we wish we could relive that day again. We had so much fun and everything turned out perfect. Since we didn't have our blog at that time, I have decided to post a few of my favorite pictures.

Tracy and Rachel made the boys these cool underwear. You can't see it very clear, but it says, "I (heart) Xavs". Thanks Girls! The best day of my life!
On our last day, as we were driving around the village looking for a place to shower, we stumbled across ANOTHER black bear just strolling around the park. This time he was much closer!
For our actual wedding anniversary we decided to go away for the weekend. So we went camping in Yosemite. We left Thursday afternoon and we were planning on getting a campsite that night, but unfortunately everything was full. We drove from campsite to campsite, inside the village and out looking for a place to sleep. It was 1:30 in the morning, we were pooped, but determined to find a site. As we were leaving Campground 4 the park ranger comes running towards our car, and waves us down to stop. She informs us that there is a bear in the road. We look ahead about 100 ft. and there it was! A huge, black bear, on top of a pizza box, just enjoying a late night snack. Adam and I had just talked about really wanting to see a bear during our trip, we seriously couldn't believe our eyes. At this time, another car pulls up right next to us, we roll down the windows, and we end talking about the bear and how we are both trying to find a spot for the night. We finally decided to call it a night and we ended up sleeping in our car. We arrived back to Campground 4 early that morning, got in line, and ran into the same couple from the night before. Little did we know that we would end up hanging out with them for the weekend.

Happy Father's Day!!
Late Friday night, Adam and I drove down to La Quinta to hang out with Gary and Jackie. The boys went golfing early Saturday morning with Gary for Father's Day. Unfortantely, we had to leave, but before we left we gave Gary his custom made bobblehead. It looks just like him. Brandon found it on whoopassenterprises.com. Good Job Brandon!

On Sunday we took my mom and dad to the Angels vs. Dodgers games. My dad is a HUGE Dodger fan and hasn't been to a game since he's been sick- I want to say it has been atleast six years. Adam and I really wanted to take him and we knew he would love it. He was on cloud nine!!! And even a better gift for my dad, the Dodgers won. I am so glad we went. We are so blessed to have shared such an amazing day with my family and some of the Walker family. We got the easy-up, good BBQ, family fun, a ball game and a beautiful day... what else could a girl ask for?
We ran into Tommy, Mike, Moss, and Ray at the Venitian Pool.
Vegas with the Girls!!!
Vegas with my San Diego girls was so much fun! We got a 2 bedroom suite with 3 bathrooms -which was perfect for 7 girls trying to get ready at the same time. We stayed at the Mirage, got some sun, and danced the night away. It was so nice to see the girls. I truly do miss them. They are not too far away, but it's always nice to hang out like the good ol' college days:)
