Addison started Musical Munchkins last month and she loved it! Miss Cindy, the teacher, walks around with a guitar and sings with the babies, meanwhile teaching them how to clap, shake instruments, stop and go, and interact with other kids. It's so much fun and exciting to see Addi learn new things. Adam and I took her to a few lesson, but then I went back to work full-time, so Abuelita and Auntie Jocelyn had the opportunity to take her for the last month. Yesterday was her last lesson, but she will continue with the "ONE" year olds in June.

11 months
i can't believe Addison is 11 months! Right when Addi turned 10 months she started signing 'more' when feeding her. She's also signing 'all done'. Her little personality is really starting to shine through. We'll catch her with her hand up to her ear, pretending to talk on the phone. It's so adorable! Everyday we see her doing something new. Here are a few things she has learned this month...
-she waves 'hello' and 'good-bye'
-she has been feeding herself
-she has been feeding herself
- standing up and clapping- a good 10 seconds and they she realizes she standing and falls on her bottom
-gives kids hugs
-eating a lot more big kid food, such as Cheerios, fruit cut up into pieces, scrammbled eggs, cheese, chicken and other meats
-Took her first step, five steps that is, right before she turned 11 months.

She's always watching what we do
Addison is such an observer. She watches everything we do. Adam was fixing the vacuum and she had to be right by his side. As he was fixing it, it was so cute listening to him explain to her what he was doing, step by step.
Our little girl watched his hands tear apart the vacuum and listened to every word he said. Then, Adam walked away to throw a few things in the trash. When we looked over at her we noticed that she wanted to be a little more involved than we thought...
Here she is with the screwdriver, pretending to fix the vacuum. Does this mean we really need to start watching everything we do? :)

Our House... Our Home...Our Future Plan
So, I never posted about our new place. We moved out of our apartment about six months ago and a friend found us a house to rent on an acre of land. Now... the lot is huge, the house is huge, but the garages take most of the space. It's a 6 car garage house. I think the garage is bigger than the actual living space, but it's perfect for us. The house has some strange features I would say... weird cupboards, 1970's carpet, random little nooks, shower heads that touch my shoulder, elevated toilet tanks (you have to pull a string to flush the toilet), bath tubs you step down into... you get the picture. The house maybe a little weird, but we love it. It has given us the opportunity to host game nights, pumpkin carving night, and just gatherings with family and friends. Adam and I love sitting outside with our fire pit and a glass of wine. We have the freedom to do whatever we want here. It is definitely a place we are planning on living in for another year or two.
We haven't planted the flowers yet. Addison having fun in the sun.
We have big plans for our future, and it has really taught us to live within our means. Adam is an amazing finance guy. He's so smart! When we got married, we decided to go big. We have large families, and friends all over the place. There was no way we could cut people from our list. So 291 people and over $35,000 in credit card debt later, we decided it was time to change our ways. Not only do we have wedding debt, but our school loans too. We sold my Acura and live on a budget! A pretty strict budget. We have paid over $28, 000 in debt in two years. We're almost there, and we told ourselves we would not buy any new furniture nor a house until we're completely OUT of debt! So you see, our strange, funny looking house is now our home... and we love it!
There's not much we can change, but we asked our landlord if we could take out these UGLY rocks and add some plants. So here's our new project...
